Following my inspiration from the Kennard exhibition I pursued the idea of using the tissue prints in from of images of people’s heads, to represent victims of psychological entrapment
A close friend and my daughter offered to be my victims. I played with the settings of the photos to create surreal images to place behind the tissue prints
The tissue paper has been sprayed with a fixative to give it some strength and the attached at the back of the canvas to leave the front loose. I will try another one gluing the tissue to see which effect looks best
During the latter half of the term I will experiment with the options, different photo combinations and lighter or darker prints to establish the best end result
